ANTI-FRAUD AND ANTI-MALPRACTISE POLICY
LEE | Engineering & Construction Company Limited designed this policy to protect company operations, customers, business partners and employees from the adverse effect of fraudulent behavior.
The company requires all staff at all times to act with honesty, integrity and to safeguard the resources for which they are responsible.
All persons covered by this policy have a role to play in preventing, detecting and reporting fraud;
+ Work in a way to prevent fraud
Report any suspicion of fraud to the Managing Director or any other senior manager
Following the report of suspected fraud or malpractice;
+ The confidence of those reporting the incident or suspicion of fraud will be respected The investigation will be carried out either internally by a director of the company, or externally by an appointed agency reporting to the director
Following investigation, every fraud involving member of staff will be reported directly to the director
+ Suspicion of money laundering will be reported to the director immediately without investigation commencing so as to notify appropriate external authorities timely
In all cases the director will take the decision as to whether the police or other authorities should be brought into the investigation
The prevention and reporting of fraud is the responsibility of all employees throughout LEE Engineering & Construction Company Ltd and the failure to report suspicions and concerns may result in disciplinary action being taken.
Any act of fraud or malpractice contravening this policy will be considered an act of Gross misconduct likely to result in summary dismissal in line with company disciplinary procedures.
